HOW TO NAVIGATE JUMIA "GENERAL PAGE" TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

This is the Jumia general page. It is same as what is called homepage for a regular website, from which one can navigate other stuffs on the website. It may sound easy to navigate but this cannot be true for an eCommerce website especially robust eCommerce with more than 150,000 products.

Jumia have this in mind and that is the reason they tried as much as necessary to make their theme easy to navigate.

In other to make your experience more seamless, I will use this medium to itemize the essential links on the "General page"  and how you can get the best out of them.

As in the first image, the first set of links are Jumia subsidiaries: JumiaMarket, JumiaTravels, JumiaFood, JumiaDeals, JumiaHouse and JumiaCar. Each of this subsidiaries offers great but unique internet businesses. For instance if you are planning a trip, JumiaTravel can help you with just everything you need. So, you can click on any of the link and explore for your purpose.

The next important link is the tab that enables you to directly search for product you are looking for. The search bar can be very handy if you know what you want and not ready to navigate the many pages available, just type whatever and there you go.  

Next to your left are list of categories available. Groceries, phones and tablet, computing, TV and electronics e.t.c. Click on any category under which the product you are looking for belongs and explore the abundant choices available to you. For instance, if you are looking for baby food or coffee, click on the grocery category and explore.

The next link below the dazzling banner are BEST SELLER BRANDS, TRENDING NOW AND SHOP NAIJA BRAND. The best seller brand shows the list of top brands on Jumia. The trending now shows the brands that are currently having the most buy, views and reviews. While the shop Naija brand showcases brands that are indigenous.

To the left of the brand listings is a banner that direct you to the amazing discount session where you could get mouth-watering offers like INFINIX HOT 4 Lite (16gb) for N38,900, N10,000 less than retail price of N48,900 in most stores; 32-Inch Vtex LED TV for N56,300, about 20% less than its normal retail price and LENOVO IDEAPAD 500GB HD for N109,990 instead of its retail price of N120,000 in Ikeja.

Next is the recommended for you links where Jumia recommends certain products to you based on its popularity or niche or price e.t.c...
